Marc Pingris. PBA/Nuki SabioMarc Pingris is renowned as one of the top defensive players in the PBA.

In Game Three of the San Mig Super Coffee Mixers’ PLDT Home DSL Philippine Cup semifinals against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, he showed just why.

“Ping started out on (LA) Tenorio, then went over to (Mark) Caguioa a little bit, played Japeth (Aguilar) for a while then he ended up playing (Greg) Slaughter,” said Cone.

Pingris was the Mixers’ most effective defender on Slaughter, limiting the 7-foot center to just four points in the final period.
