1st, truth be told that darius rice is a great player with his offensive capabilities... but, offense is not what purefoods actually lacks, kundi defense and rebounding... as coach ryan said himself,last ang pf sa defense ngayong conference.  remember the game against coca-cola? we should have won that one kung nakuha lang ung rebound, hehe.. moving on..

2nd, with darius' offensive prowess, mas madali actually sa ibang team na depensahan ang PF, sa totoo lang, mas mdaling bantayan ung perimeter shooter kesa post player, ndi na kasi kailangang i-double team ng madalas ung mga outside shooter, unlike pag post threat talaga, obligado madalas ung kalaban na i-double ung player, so ang effect, mas madaling malilibre ung perimeter shooter natin. and isa pa, mag-mintis man ung shooter, may rebounder na sila. (take note ung word na "madalas", which means, majority nung cases, but not always.) contested outside shots are less likely to go in, unlike sa post, even if it is contested, mas malaki ung chance na makakuha ka ng foul.

3rd, sobrang daming shots ni darius.. minsan wala na sa lugar... minsan rin parang kulang ung tiwala nya sa team mates nya, remember ung game against air21? mas gumanda ung laro nung team nung nawala sya... un ung nag-take over na si james backed up by the rest of the team. (PF won that game after being down by as much as 11 pts with 7 mins left)  un din ung huling panalo natin, nung naglaro na ulit si rice, talo na ulit.. haha..

4th, i am proud to say na Purefoods is not the type of team that would rely heavily on just one player, more so, on an import.  this is a team where everybody knows their role.  kita naman natin un last all-filipino conference and the past years na naging contender ang PF kahit ndi sila ina-acknowledge as a "team to beat".

this team is not a "super team" and it doesn't need a "super player" to win games, but they have one arsenal that they could rely on.. their heart. ^_^ they got one of the biggest heart in the league.  the heart of a champion. ^_^

makakabawi tayo as long as we have faith in this team.  and we can win as long as we have the heart and soul of this team.  Kerby is the heart, and James is the soul. ^_^ and the rest completes the body.. ^_^

go, go, go! haha! fight, fight , fight! ^_^
