I'm hoping Ginebra mgt will look at getting a scrappy, long, hard nosed rebounder/defender, role player in the forward slot.  Probably in the makes of Marc Pingris or K.G. Canaleta perhaps.  I would love to see Pingris on our team.  Trust me on this guys, he's a perfect compliment to our game style!  Erik Menk is enough, no need to get Asi for that matter.  What they have to do is throw around Erik some quality Centers who can relieve him, say, JR Reyes or Dorian Pena or Beau Belga even.  We've got enough stars, hindi pa ba kayo naduduling sa dami nila?  What we need is a couple of role players who can score, defend, post and pass.  Best candidates for this - MARC PINGRIS.  How say you guys?

some say it's about the jelling thing...  Ei... the coaching staff has a lot to do with the jelling part. How can the players jell if they're not allowed to play their games on the court? on the real games? And besides, don't you think their practices and other stuff off the court are enough to make them jell? If you notice guys, they are way too rigid nowadays. I'm talking about our stars... they can't seem to be themselves! Para bang lagi nlng sila nakatingin sa bench for instructions. Uichico has some ego issues. He wants his system. Has he forgotten how he got the Ginebra team? Mark and Jayjay plays freely on the court. He want the team to be dynamic, but the only thing he's changing is how the players play. Has he tried playing the system of how the gin kings play? you know, incorporate it to his system. He's been doing the 3 guard combo, but how are they gonna ever run, if there's no one to rebound? Feel me?

Ei...  Think.  Nothing is impossible in the basketball world.  Since you mentioned Lebron, I guess you know what he means to the Cavalier's team, right?  He does not just give energy, he's the LIFE of that team.  But where is he now?  How about K-Will, he's the star of Sta. Lucia... then why is he with TnT now?  How about Arwind Santos or J-Washinton or Willie Miller?  They're all stars for their old teams, right?  but why are they wearing a different uniform now???  should I go on and name you names?  tsk.. tsk.. hmmm...  Come on...  Go on...  Since you said use our heads then go ahead...  You Think! 

I'm a James Yap fan too, Alright?  I don't just bark stuff just to protect my ego.  I know what I'm saying...  the question is Do you know what you're saying? 

What I'm saying is, anything can happen.  It might be wishful thinking referring to Pingris.  But dang...  if Pingris chooses to get traded to whichever team he wants to go to or stay with Bmeg then it's all his decision to make.  But remember, his team decides over his fate too, look at how they made a pingpong with Artadi's case?  or that didn't ever occur to you?

Onga...  That's one of them.  ewan ko ba bakit ganun mga nakuha nilang imports this past season...  para bang kung cnu cnu nlng...  hmmm...  BUDGET issues?  LOL. 

Look at what Ginebra is doing, they're looking for the "role player" role from the imports....  It's hard to look for blue collared players nowadays.  that's why there's only a handful of them now.  I guess the best thing they should do next time they look for an import...  look for a scorer!  Coz that will fuel Ginebra's vaunted RUN and GUN style of game.  You know, someone in the makes of Strothers.  wahehe...  silly me...  No seriously, someone who can score, defend, pass - soar!  That's the kind of import we need.  Someone like Simpson, Gabe Freeman young and athletic and a scorers too. 

So wherever they are scouting for Imports - I guess they're looking at the wrong place.  Replace our scout if that's what's necessary!

Determinado and Brgy Ginebra sa pagpapalakas nito para sa PBA 2010-2011 season sa pamamagitan ng planong pagpapalit ng ilang mga manlalaro pagkatapos ng Fiesta Conference.

Ayon sa text message ng Bagong Tiktik Sports, plano ng Gin Kings na pakawalan na sina Mark Caguioa at Jayjay Helterbrand patungong San Miguel Beer katulong ang Air 21.

Sa Ilalim ng three-way trade, kukunin ng Gin Kings sina Jonas Villanueva mula sa Beermen at Ronjay Buenafe mula Express. Makakasama rin sa trade si Willie Miller na ipagpapalit sa Air 21 at pagkatapos ay itatapon siya sa B-Meg Derby ACe ka-swap ng isang first round draft pick na mapupunta naman sa Gin Kings.

Binangit din ng source na balak ng Ginebra na kunin sa draft ang dating sentro ng Ateneo de Manila na si Rabeh Al-Hussaini na inaasahang magpapalista para sa PBA Roookie Draft kapag natuloy ang planong pagbitiw sa kanya ng Smart Gilas.

Kung makukuha ng Gin Kings si Al-Hussainin, inaasahang ipagpapalit na rin nila sina Eric Menk at Enrico Villanueva para kay Jay-R Reyes ng Rain or Shine.

Habang sinusulatang balitang ito't tikom ang bibig ng mga opisyal ng Ginebra tungkol  sa mga pinaplano nito dahil gusto muna nilang matapos ang Fiesta Cup.

Kung matutuloy ang balsahang ito'y magiging bago at mas bata ang line-up ng Ginebra sa darating na PBA Philippine Cup na magsisimula sa Oktubre.

Iniisip ng Ginebra na pakawalan na sina Helterbrand at Caguioa dahil sa sobrang pangit ng inilaro ng mga ito sa quarterfinals ng Fiesta Cup kaya natalo sila ng Alaska.

Ibininangko pa ni Ginebra Coach Jong Uichico si Caguioa sa game Four at Five ng serye at mas pinahaba ang playing time ni JC Intal.

all i can say.....kakilakilabot naman ang mangyayari na yan! imagine the heart and soul of BGK being traded to another team plus a 2timeMVP, three quality players in one blockbuster trade and what do we get? Jonas Villanueva-whew, I don't trust him, swertehan lang ang game niyan, si Ronjay pa, maaasahan yan. Tas, when Al-Hussaini is drafted (which is a big ?, kasi there will be other teams who could beat us to the draw), bibitawan si Eric Menk and Evillanueva? Yes, we will be much younger, but andun pa rin kaya ang old ginebra fire! As normal as everything else, all things are possible under the sun, so lets just wait and see. Anything goes, Ginebra pa rin ako!
