UFC 143: Diaz, Condit make weight
MANILA, Philippines - Former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz and former WEC champ Carlos Condit make weight ahead of their interim welterweight title fight in UFC 143.
Diaz and Condit tipped the scales at 169 pounds.
Whoever wins the fight will get the next crack at reigning champ Georges St.-Pierre, who is sidelined from fighting for the next several months.
Diaz and St.-Pierre were scheduled to fight but it fell through after the welterweight champ suffered a knee injury. -- ANC
