Pacquiao, Bradley all set for coast-to-coast tour
MANILA, Philippines – Eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao and his American challenger Timothy Bradley are all set for a coast-to-coast media tour in 2 cities which will kick off in Beverly Hills, California.
Pacquiao, who will defend his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against Bradley, will be attending a press conference at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila) to promote the fight.
The boxers reportedly finished a commercial shoot at the eve of the press conference. The ad will be used to promote the fight.
The event at the Beverly Hills Hotel will followed by another press conference on Thursday (Friday in Manila) at the Chelsea Piers in New York City.
Although most fans prefer to see Pacquiao fight the controversial but unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., Bradley says he’s prepared to “shock the world.”
“I'm right in my prime. So that's the difference between me and Pacquiao's last fight and the fight that he’s going to have on June 9," he said.
Pacquiao advised Bradley to train hard for their bout.
"Don't take this fight easy, just do your best in training,” Pacquiao was quoted in the Examiner. “Make yourself ready on June 9th."
The WBO title fight is set to take place at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
