Beal, Wall lead Wizards to 104-100 win over Hawks

Wahington Wizards guard john Wall.WASHINGTON -- First, the Washington Wizards hung around their game against the Atlanta Hawks with their defense.

Then Bradley Beal said, they found their "swag" again.

Beal scored 28 points and John Wall added all 22 of his in the second half to help the Wizards to a 104-100 victory over the Hawks on Wednesday night.

Wall also had 10 assists on a night he shot just 6 of 21 from the floor, including two assists to Beal during a late 14-2 run that helped Washington ensure victory....

Hornets hand Hawks 4th straight loss, 105-90

The Hornets gets five players into double-figure scoring, including two from the bench, to race past the Hawks 105-90.CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Hornets second-year forward Frank Kaminsky said his biggest problem on the court has been letting go of the past.

"I'm always thinking through stuff, and it's hard to get over things," Kaminsky said. "When you miss four of five shots early in the season, it's hard. I was getting down on myself."

Overcoming a season-high 23 turnovers with a strong defensive showing kept the Spurs from getting into real trouble with their coach and the Atlanta Hawks.

Atlanta Hawks forward Taurean Prince.MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Taurean Prince scored a career-high 17 points to lead a balanced Atlanta attack as the Hawks sent the Memphis Grizzlies to their fifth straight loss, 107-90 on Saturday night.

Prince, the rookie from Baylor, made five of his six shots, including shooting 3 of 4 from outside the arc, as Atlanta shot 50 percent, including 15 of 30 from 3-point range.

Dennis Schroder and Paul Millsap finished with 16 points each for Atlanta. Millsap added 11 rebounds, while Schroder had seven rebounds and eight assists....

Schroder scored 26 points, including 13 in the final period, and the Hawks beat the Toronto Raptors 105-99 on Friday night to pull closer in the race for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
