Tim Cone taking patient approach dealing with Slaughter injury

As Greg Slaughter deals with a hamstring injury, Barangay Ginebra head coach Tim Cone is taking a

Without Slaughter Ginebra fell 97-83 to Alaska, its second loss in a row after a 2-0 start.

Entering Friday's game, Cone said he's not sure whether the 7-foot center will see action.

“Not a very good (chance), but there’s a chance (he’ll play). If he’s not feeling pain, we’ll give him a few minutes,” Cone said in an article posted on Spin.ph.

In an article posted on the PBA website, Cone said: "We've been hit hard by the injury bug so far this conference, but the other teams are not going to give us a break because of that, of course. We just have to keep fighting through it and keep looking for that next man up."
