Clint Capela to miss Rockets' next 2 games with orbital fracture

Rockets center Clint Capela has a right orbital fracture and will miss Houston's next two games, the team announced Wednesday.

Capela will be re-evaluated later this week, according to the Rockets.

Capela returned to the starting lineup Monday, scoring 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting in a 112-107 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He had missed three of the four previous games with a left heel contusion.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Capela suffered the orbital bone injury on a drive to the basket against the Thunder, when he was apparently elbowed in the eye by center Steven Adams.

Capela, 23, is averaging 14.2 points and 11.2 rebounds in 29 games while shooting a league-best 69.1 percent from the floor.
