Parks turns attention to Alab stint in ABL

MANILA, Philippines — Bobby Ray Parks Jr. knew the competition in the Southeast Asian Games won’t be a walk in the park.

And even after winning a gold and reigning supreme once again, the second-generation Filipino cager’s assessment remains unchanged.

“You know, I played with talented group of guys and they definitely helped and made it easier to adapt,” he continued.

“The Southeast Asian region's talent got better when they started playing more professional leagues, and the players developed throughout the years,” Parks elaborated.

With that in mind, the 6-foot-4 cager bared that he can’t wait to get back at the neighboring foes in the Asean Basketball League, where he is set to reprise his role as skipper for Alab Pilipinas.
