Russian fighter who KO'd Folayang wants to fight 'Landslide' again

The last man who beat Eduard Folayang would like to fight the “Landslide” again.

Timofey Nastyukhin hopes to get past Japan’s Koji Ando this weekend and set a possible shot against the reigning ONE lightweight king from the Philippines.

Natsyukin knocked Folayang out cold two years ago, but admitted that things have been different since they last faced off.

“A lot of things have changed. The division had a major facelift, and it is still growing with new names joining the ranks. Aside from all of that, lightweight has a new champion in Eduard Folayang,” he said in The Nation.

“Eduard and I had a history. We fought before in ONE Championship. I hope we can meet again, but this time it’s for the title. My goal is to become a champion. Eduard has what I want. And I am coming for it.”

Following his victory over Folayang in 2014, Nastyukhin has had mixed outcomes in his last four outings.
