Coach Francis Vicente was delighted with the improvement shown by the national team, especially with regards to their attitude.

"These are all superstars," he said of the team bannered by Alyssa Valdez, Jaja Santiago, and team captain Mika Reyes. "Napakahirap hawakan niyan, pero nakita mo 'yung mga superstars, nagu-usap sila. Walang isnaban."

"Yun ang biggest improvement nila – 'yung ego, bumaba," he said. "Nakakatuwa."

Reyes, the former De La Salle University standout, added that the team grew closer over the course of 17 days as they did virtually everything together.
