NCAA Season 93: San Sebastian Golden Stags

MANILA, Philippines – San Sebastian College had the most impressive second-round team in Season 92, but still missed the Final 4. The Golden Stags are hoping it won't take them that long to put a winning streak together this time around.

Season 92 summary: The Golden Stags welcomed new coach Egay Macaraya with a victory over De La Salle-College of St. Benilde in their first game of Season 92, and promptly went on to lose their next nine games.

However, they won seven of their last eight games, including wins over three teams that made the Final 4 – University of Perpetual Help, eventual champs San Beda College, and Mapua University.

Unfortunately for the Golden Stags, their fiery finish to the season could not make up for their poor start, and they ended up missing out on the semifinals once again.

Key losses: Jerick Fabian

Key returnees: Michael Calisaan, Ryan Costelo, RK Ilagan, Jayson David

Projection: It took the Golden Stags some time to get used to the system implemented by Macaraya in Season 92, but once they did, they became one of the best teams in the NCAA.
