Horn doesn’t think McGregor will pull off shocker vs Floyd

Despite shocking everybody with his upset of Manny Pacquiao, Australia’s Jeff Horn doesn’t think Conor McGregor is capable of doing the same against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Even if McGregor has an advantage in size and strength against the American superstar, Horn doesn’t think the Irish MMA star will be able to land a clean punch against Mayweather.

("I don't think (McGregor) has much chance, that's for sure,” Horn told CBS Sports.

Horn said Mayweather’s defensive wizardry will make it nearly impossible for McGregor to land heavy blows in their August 26 showdown.

“Obviously he has a puncher's chance. In any fighting sport, if you land the right shot, I guess Mayweather can go down, but I highly doubt he can connect with anything at all," said Horn.

The Australian said if Mayweather wants a real bout then they should arrange a face-off in the near future.
