Holyfield gives McGregor a tip on beating Floyd

Former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield doesn’t think Conor McGregor will be able to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

But he did give the Irish mixed martial arts superstar a tip on how to increase his chances of upsetting the unbeaten boxing champion from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
“He has to rough him up. He has to do something that will get (Mayweather) into a battle. His only chance is if he get into a battle,” Holyfied, best known for his battles against Riddick Bowe and Mike Tyson, said in TMZ.

Holyfield, however, feels Mayweather’s defensive skills will be too much for McGregor, who hasn’t fought a single professional boxing match.

“I have to go with Mayweather. The other guy's pretty good, but he's going against Mayweather,” he said.

McGregor is apparently banking not much on his fighting style, but more on his size and punching power.
