Bolick proud of teammates for holding down San Sebastian

Robert Bolick was forced to sit out most of the second half in San Beda’s opening game in the NCAA Season 93 men’s basketball tournament, but fortunately for him his teammates had his back.

The Red Lion’s combo guard was on the bench most of the third quarter and early into the fourth quarter after hitting four fouls, but bench guys like Clint Doliguez and JB Bahio were there to hold fort.

“I’m proud of my teammates because even though I was in foul trouble they played well,” said Bolick Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena after San Beda fended off San Sebastian 76-67.

“This is really proves that whoever comes in for us will help the team to a victory.”

Doliguez, a reserve forward, scored all of his six points in the fourth quarter while Bahio made all four of his in the same period.

Bolick was able to return to the game midway through the fourth and scored seven of his total 15 points in the period.
