Making weight should be no problem for Jerwin Ancajas, trainer says

Boxing is very much alive in Brisbane these days, thanks to Manny Pacquiao's upcoming fight against Jeff Horn over the weekend.

The camp of junior bantamweight champion Jerwin Ancajas can certainly feel the excitement, as they make their final preparations for the main supporting bout.

"Excited na lahat ng tao dito," Ancajas' boxing trainer Joven Jimenez told ABS-CBN News via Facebook chat. "Boxing lahat ang pinag-uusapan."

Ancajas will take on mandatory challenger Teiru Kinoshita in the main supporting bout of Pacquiao-vs.-Horn at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.

Jimenez said his team hasn't seen Kinoshita yet, but they expect to meet up with the lanky Japanese during the weigh-in on Saturday.

The coach said they have been doing nothing but light training since they arrived in Australia last Saturday. This is to avoid injuries before Ancajas' second title defense.
