Lance Stephenson pleads with Paul George to stay with Pacers in Instagram post

Unsurprisingly, Indiana Pacers fans aren't the only people upset at the prospect of Paul George leaving the team.

Lance Stephenson, who was drafted by the Pacers along with George in 2010 and has played parts of five seasons by his side, posted a photo of the two on his Instagram account Wednesday night with a caption pleading George to stay in Indiana.

Stephenson, who played for the Pacers from 2010-14, rejoined the team for six games in April and went on to log quality minutes off the bench during the playoffs.

George has said he's committed to playing with the Pacers through next season, but intends to sign elsewhere when his contract is up in 2018.

Stephenson isn't the only player trying to influence George's future. Washington Wizards All-Star guard John Wall told ESPN's The Undefeated earlier this week that he is recruiting George in hopes that the 27-year-old will push for a trade to the nation's capital.
