Jaja Santiago completed the comeback by making the big plays in the deciding fifth set to help the Tornadoes win their fifth straight in a match that lasted one hour and 44 minutes.

The national team mainstay finished with 26 points built on 19 kills, five aces and two blocks for Foton, which clinched the top spot in Pool C. The Tornadoes can complete a six-game sweep of the preliminary round tomorrow against Petron in Batangas City.

She was aided by University of Santo Tomas standout EJ Laure with 20 points including 18 hits while ex-Tigress Maika Ortiz chipped in nine.

Rubie De Leon also silently contributed with 22 excellent sets, while libero Jen Reyes had 17 digs.

Generika dropped at the bottom of Pool C with a 2-3 record after wasting a golden opportunity of dealing Foton its first loss of the tournament.
